I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sears in Jan 2012
Interview
I was called more than two weeks prior and played phone tag with the HR person. I finally got a face to face interview and I was sent a schedule that listed four people I was supposed to interview with at 45 minutes each. By the time I reached the fifth person I was interviewing with (a second person sat in on the first 45 minutes) I had asked all the questions I had and then some. The interviewer would start talking about the position I would finish her sentences because it was covered in the previous 3 hours.
I was interested in the position and I felt it would be a place I could grow but the length of the interview made that last hour make me look like an ass. And every interviewer seemed to have printed out the same generic interview questions from some "How to Interview." website because I was asked what my greatest weakness was more than once.
