The entire interview process was terrible, beginning with the recruiter who said they didn't believe I had the experience for the position, but pushed me for an interview anyway. Mind you, she knew nothing about my entire technical background, no comprehension of what SQL, Python, or VBA was. I wasn't sure if I even wanted to do the interview after that, but I always give people the benefit of the doubt, so I went for it.
When I reached the interviewer, and he was highly unprofessional and made the experience extremely uncomfortable. I believe the interviewer was trying to understand my background and knowledge but instead
he was getting deep into my previous work's trade secrets. He didn't want to know what I did and how I did it, he wanted exact procedures and numbers, mind you the information he was asking for had nothing to do with the pricing analytics role whatsoever. He even seemed to ask questions as if he was getting a free consultation from me.
As we continued, he talked about the job requiring building a program, web scraping, logistics, pricing, and data analytics. What started with one job, somehow became 5. Even if I do get considered for this role, I will decline it. So many red flags that it's not even funny and it has been the worst interview I've ever had in my life. I would not enjoy working with this person whatsoever.
