I applied online, and after answering the online questionnaire, it asked me to set up an interview date. I guess they do that if they like you haha. But when I went in, the lady was just leaving and told me that their online scheduling isn't accurate (I've been reading that about sears a lot lately) and she rescheduled for me the next day.
I went in on that Friday, she literally asked me 3 questions, and then she referred me to her manager. His questions were pretty brief, too. He was mostly just talking, but they're paying attention to how well you listen and whatnot, so it's good to be attentive. Then he asked me a few questions that were based on how engaged I was with him, and not necessarily based on the answer I gave. I interviewed with him on a Wednesday, and they called back the following Monday to tell me I got the job.
I went in today to finish filling out the hiring papers, and have to get my drug test tomorrow. Then I have to do online training, and am expected to start working on the 20th.
*Keep in mind that when you're talking to the interviewer for positions like Cashier and whatnot, that interact with customers a lot, that they're looking at you to see how you interact with other people.
