I applied online and about 2 weeks later, Sears called and I was scheduled an interview that was 3-4 days later. The interview was 1 on 1 with the cashier leader. Right from the start she was blunt, she said you have to sell credit cards and get 85% of people to sign with the shop your way things. The more you sell the more hours you get. The things they say about the credit cards/shop your way may make you feel nervous or anxious (which I was) but just show confidence. The cashier leader was very friendly and understood I didn't have a lot of customer service experience. They pretty much ask scenario questions and availability. After the interview was over in 2 days I received an email saying I got the job and I had 48 hours to accept. I accepted and now in the process of a drug test.

Question 1
Selling a certain amount of credit cards and signing people up for the shop your way accounts can be stressful, if you found out you weren't selling enough how would you fix it?
Took like 20 mins. Very easy but questions seemed random. It also seemed like management had no idea they had interviews scheduled cuz there were several of us waiting for a long time
