Interview
I went shopping and saw hiring flyers sitting on the cashier desk and I was already looking for a job. (I have no exp. and this would be my first interview and job. So I applied online and a week or two later I got an email from the HR lady thanking me for applying and the next day was the interview & to choose 3 times. (11am-11:30am-12:00pm) I don't know why. It was confusing. She then said she would email me confirming the interview which she never did. That made me nervous. I practiced using this app! OK, so I just finished my interview. My interview was 15 min. The woman who interviewed me was so lovely and so nice to me. I couldn't be any more relieved. She thought I was young (still in hs young) and was shocked when I told her I was 19 and didn't go to school. I noticed on her desk she had a paper with the questions but she didn't really ask much. Which was good in my case haha.. She basically explained the job requirements, the daily activites and it made me feel good about this job. She explained the whole credit card thing and although I am nervous, I am sure I can do it. She told me she started at 17 and is now 32 working for Sears! When I told her I was shy she didn't make me feel bad about it she said I have to try to burst out of my bubble :) I hope her and I become great friends and I hope to make her proud. She said not to let her down! Anyways, she basically hired me on the spot! She told me that I will be trained and have to go to orientation and told me what the uniform is. She said the HR lady will email me with the yes or no of wanting this job and if I accept that I have to take the drug test thingy. Can't wait to start!
Took like 20 mins. Very easy but questions seemed random. It also seemed like management had no idea they had interviews scheduled cuz there were several of us waiting for a long time
