The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sears in Oct 2008
Interview
Before the interview, there was a pre-night presentation for all potential candidates which lasted about an hour. Mine was done at the University I was attending. The interview was for about less than thirty minutes total, and of average difficulty. The work culture did not seem as strong as it was in other companies I had interview for, and there seemed to be less organization. They had also just acquired Kmart not too long ago, and admitted to having some troubles still adjusting to their new coworkers.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sears (Saint Louis, MO) in Mar 2012
Interview
You applied online and set up an interview on line also. During the interview they asked every kind of question you can imagine about my current job, but none of the standard interview questions. I kind of lead the interview myself.
