Sears Retail Management Internship interview questions

After applying to a variety of positions online (Business Analyst, Corporate Intern, Kmart/Sears Retail Management) I received about 3-4 emails telling me that Sears Holding Corporation would be pursuing other candidates. Then I received an email from their regional hiring manager asking me which state I would like to work in and which company I would like to work for (Sears or Kmart). I originally requested Kmart to stay on the safe side. Next I emailed with the district recruiter for the position and we scheduled a phone interview. Now I'm not the most skilled at interviews, but have historically done better over-the-phone that in person. I was asked allegedly "3-pages of questions," most of which referenced leadership and customer service experience. I used example from college and Greek life, as well as a few part-time work positions. I ended the interview with a few well-thought out questions regarding my future in the company, and how the internship would prepare me for corporate opportunities. I didn't ace the interview, but I didn't bomb it either. I'd rate my performance at about a 6.5-7 out of 10. The next step was receiving an offer for the Kmart internship the next day in the form of an email. I asked the recruiter a few more questions about future opportunities and specifically if I could still be considered for a the Sears internship as well, before I made a decision. The following day I received an email asking if I would rather work on the Sears side and I agreed. I was greeted with an offer from Sears the following day. Altogether I would recommend really showing that you want a place high up in the company for the future. Decide beforehand if you want to work on the Kmart or Sears side, I'm sure there's benefits to both. The interview process was not difficult at all, though you have to be prepared to answer some basic questions to prove your worth. I would highly recommend applying to this position.
