The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sears in Nov 2011
Interview
Received a call and a job description from H.R. to schedule a short phone interview with the hiring manager of the position. Although the job description was for social media, the interview focused on marketing. Something that was not listed in the job description.
The caller was late. Initially everything was going well and she complimented me on my experience and stated how "impressed" she was with my skills. Then, she asked me about marketing materials I created for another company, which is proprietary information. After telling her it was proprietary, the interview really changed for the worse. Finally, I asked her what skills she was seeking and she mentioned skills that were NOT on the job description. Frustrated, I said, "no, I'm not the right person for the position." The interviewer ended the conversation with a sarcastic comment.
