      Software Engineer II Interview

      Mar 29, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SeatGeek (New York, NY) in Mar 2022

      Interview

Introductory Phone interview, followed by a technical interview. Their technical interview was the worst one by far. It was not algorithmic (which is good imo), but it was also unrelated to their day to day work. The question is below, but the question is not something that you would/should be expected to implement off the top of your head when you can do a quick search to find an implementation.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Code a Rate Limiter, followed by some API Design.
