I submitted my application online and was contacted by a third-party recruiter. She conducted a brief 30-minute phone interview and then progressed me to the next stage. The subsequent step involved an online logical IQ test, which seemed to assess logical thinking but wasn't directly related to the role. The test was time-limited and required the use of both a camera and microphone, which felt intrusive. The sample questions on the test were exceptionally challenging and confusing. Despite my best efforts, I left the test after 1.5 hours feeling discouraged and lacking confidence. It's disappointing because the role was a perfect match for my background and experience. However, it appeared that they were primarily filtering candidates based on IQ rather than their ability to perform the job, which felt biased. The day after the test, I received a rejection email. It appears that they selectively administer the logical test to certain candidates applying for same role while others go through multiple rounds of interviews with no logical testing, based on these reviews. This entire process seems to involve a selective approach and could be argued to contain elements of discrimination. When I requested feedback and test results, I didn't receive any response, leaving me without feedback to improve upon.
