Interview
Straight-foward and simple at first. The first round was a typical 15 minute interview with a recruiter. They seemed pretty enthusiastic over the phone and had the second round already lined up. Unfortunately the experience took a sharp nosedive from there. I was tasked with using an odd AI simulation where you were supposed to follow guidelines to compensate an angry customer, but the whole thing was off putting and incredibly janky due to it being an LLM and not an actual accurate simulation. After completing that I was interviewed by two upper management employees. One of them barely seemed presently mentally and the other was having technical issues with their setup can kept losing connection. They mentioned they were going to read off a script but that was obvious without mention. That said it seemed to go very well otherwise. A week goes by and I reach out to see if there has been an update, I'm given a date where I'm told when I'll hear back with wording that insinuates that it will be good news. A week passes and I still don't hear back from them with no other communication since. Given the interviewees, the goofy "AI" test and overall dismissive attitude suggests that Sedgewick's time is valuable but yours isn't.

Interview
I felt the interview was fairly standard compared to others. The interviewer was very personable and ensured they answered all questions thoroughly. The follow-up to the interview was slower than anticipated.

Interview was interesting. We began in a large group and were introduced to the company. Then we broke off into smaller groups for a brief introduction. Then we went individual with two hiring specialists. Honestly, the one was more interested in talking about his experience vs mine.
