I was called in for an interview and when I went it turned out to be a mass panel interview. They had large groups of people coming in every hour for a presentation followed by one on one interviews. The interviews were held in a empty suite in a large building because they had so many candidates coming in that they had no room in the actual office. My biggest complaint was when I did receive a job offer 3 weeks after the interview, the recruiter was very rude and demanding. I had been sick with the flu for 3 days and had not been able to take phone calls and he was upset that I hadn't called him back as soon as he wanted, even though he had only emailed me Friday evening and never called. When I apologized and explained that I did have questions, he complained that he would've answered them if I had called him back when he wanted (It was only Tuesday and he had only sent me one email on Friday evening). He then went on to say that they needed me to start May 8th and that any plans I had needed to be canceled. If I failed training, I would most likely be let go if they didn't have any lower positions available. He then went on to say that he was going to reach out to another candidate to give them my position if I hadn't called him soon. I emailed him later and told him I didn't want to move forward and he tried to convince me to move forward by telling me I'd be making 75K in 3 years and that I had extensive PTO days. No salary or PTO is worth this. If even the recruiters are rude, I can't even imagine what management is like.
