Sedin Technologies Senior Software Engineer interview questions

I attended an interview for a Senior Software Engineer (C# Full Stack) position. There were two rounds: The first round lasted almost an hour and was purely technical — they asked about OOPs, C#, SQL, Angular, an array-based problem, and SQL queries. However, in the second round, they didn’t ask a single technical question. Instead, the interviewer asked if I had done any certification courses and whether I knew about AI technologies like GenAI or Agent AI. I said no, and they rejected me, saying I needed to upskill myself and learn new technologies. I felt it was a waste of my time. During the second round, I was genuinely confused about whether I was being interviewed for a C# Full Stack role or for an AI-related position. I'm really disappointed that even though I cleared the 1-hour technical interview successfully, I was still rejected for not having experience with AI tools, which weren’t even part of the original role
