I have applied to the job myself directly through the website. The interview process was divided in 4 steps: 1. Interview with the HR person. 2. Interview with Engineering Manager. 3. Work on Case Study - Testing Strategy. 4. Presentation of Case Study to CTO and Engineering Manager. 1. First talk went quite well, just a regular talk about the intentions, role and my skillset. 2. There was confusion with the 2nd interview, as the invitation was sent for an online-call however we have agreed on the on-site visit, as it was available (and I think better) option for me. At the office there was no one waiting for me, and I was sitting and waiting for 15 minutes for the person that should interview me. Office looked quite clumsy for me, the kitchen looked supertiny, and some company photos from team events where on the walls, attached with someone who has no measurement instruments(curvy). Interview went quite well, and as there was no specific agenda, we spoke over my experience, Sellics platform and the role itself. 3. After a few days I was told that the previous phase was ok and I have to complete their Case Study - write a Test Strategy. This is quite big document so to say, and it required a bit more than 3 hours (which was estimated time to complete). I had to present the Case Study personally in about a week. 4. I honestly didn't like the last phase of interview process. As the Case Study - Test Strategy was already sent to the interview participants, it was strange that I had to talk about each part of it. However I covered all of the parts, though Test Strategy overall is quite long topic to discuss. Then I was asked a lot of tricky questions, which was expected, but I had no time to ask questions for my interviewers. Also the whole interview looked quite pressured, I would suggest this should be still more fun and enjoyable, guys I am not sitting in front of your to defend my diploma, and we are talking about really important position in the company, this should be a mutual process. After a few days I have received the email that I was not selected for a role, however there was no specific reason why, and man, I have worked on your future Test Strategy for free! That's mean to give a feedback like that!
