The interview process was kind of a mess. I had no idea who I was talking to next, but I'd get an email the day before just asking, urgently, if I had time the following day. I liked everyone I spoke to, and was excited about the job. Then I got the offer and it was way lower than my desired range, even lower than how much I've been making the past 5 years. I had told HR in the 2nd interview how much I wanted, so they knew from the get go, but still pushed through. I tried to negotiate and they wouldn't budge. They gave me 2 days to think about it, I accepted the job and asked if it was possible to get a little more they RESCINDED THE OFFER! If this is any indication of what it's like to work there, then I know I dodged a bullet. But the shame is that I had accepted the job, and was really excited about it, despite the significant pay cut. And they never officially said "we don't negotiate" which I wish they would have, from the get go, instead of pushing me through 5+ interviews after hearing that my desired range was around $40k higher than the offer.
