I was very excited when I received an invitation to interview with Sendlane. I responded to the invite as instructed by confirming a time via Calendly and emailing the hiring manager the time I selected. I spent hours preparing for the interview, only for the hiring manager not to show up. After 10 minutes of patiently waiting, I emailed the hiring manager to see if they needed to reschedule. I didn't receive a response until the next day, unapologetically informing me that the position was closed. It's very disrespectful and unprofessional to waste a candidate's time like this. This behavior reflects poorly on the company.
