Recruiter got the position wrong and stopped replying after the first email.
A week later, another Manager reached out and set the interview, started the conversation with the relocation question, and stopped when knowing the candidate is not in the area.
It could've been avoided with initial emails for basic questions like this if it's necessary for the company. Candidates also have to spend time to prep before the conversation. By saying not wasting the candidate's time is basically only saying not wasting the company's time.
The whole process took 2 weeks. It could've been done within 2 emails.
