Hiring manager reached out to me via email after running into my resume. After exchange of emails we had a phone screen then in person interview. Recruiting manager who was suppose to come did not show up so interview proceeded with just the hiring manager. After the interview I was asked to wait for her to set up another interview with the manager that did not show. Then through email I was asked to do a phone interview with one of the two CEO of the company instead. The phone interview did not take place at the specified time and when inquired about the situation after waiting for over an hour the hiring manager said she didn't know what had happened and she will inform me the next day. That also did not happen. Two days later, I sent an email to see what was going on. I received a reply saying she was just about to contact me and the reason for the delay was because she was out of office. Then I was told that she will let me know ASAP after she speaks with the CEO. After 2 weeks I received an email that executives decided to proceed with candidates with recruiting experience and she would like to be a resource if I wanted to know more about the industry or have any questions. After a week I ran into a new hiring post on job board by the company and sent an email just to say hello and find out what was going on. At this point I had already received an offer from another company so it was mostly out of curiosity. I have not received a response. Keep in mind I have never applied to this company but was instead contacted by the hiring manager for the position. Ironically, this is from a staffing agency.
