Interview
Step 1 apply online
Step 2 take a written test which goes over NYC emt protocols. Fairly easy.
Step 3 take a physical test - involves lifting stretcher, performing CPR, lifting a 70lb bar, dragging a mannequin 25ft weighing 150lbs, setting up an oxygen tank.
Step 3 drug test
Step 4 you meet with someone who will ask you 3 questions about a medical emergency which you must answer correctly.
Step 5 interview with a manager. Step 2-4 occur all in the same day if you pass that you then have this interview.
Step 6 receive an acceptance email in about 2-3 days.
Interview basically asks questions about your other jobs and your stress management. Remember to smile.

Questions are easy if you know your stuff. Honestly nothing to worry about.
It was straightforward and it didn't feel intimidating. It was more like a conversation than a hard interview. They just asked basic questions. Everyone was super nice. Overall, it was a positive experience.
Easy, quick, generic interview questions. I applied and received an interview offer very quickly. The interviewer was a base manager and he was very chill and easy-going. It felt more like a casual conversation than an official interview.
