I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sentinel (Chicago, IL)
Interview
I was initially contacted for a sales position. While I was interested in discussing the opportunity more, I communicated that while I had informal sales experience, I had never carried a quota or filled a sales role directly. I communicated my strongest asset was in IT solution design and architecture. They were very accommodating to shifting the focus of my evaluation to the pre-sales organization and senior management. I interviewed in person on two separate occasions and was offered a position in less than a week post my last interview. The communication of salary, bonus structure and benefits were very clear and concise.

Interview
Interview process was great. Recruiter was good. The offer was accepted. I booked the apartment and movers to relocate with my family. I gave notice to my employer. Suddenly HR declined my offer because they don't want to answer my question which was related to relocation reimbursement. I was very lucky that my employer was ok for me to stay back. Sentinel HR people did not have heart and not human being at all. I am happy that I ended up not working for such kind of company.
