I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sentinel (Downers Grove, IL) in Jan 2016
Interview
I was able to set the interview day/time for when worked best for my schedule. There was a recruiter "assigned" to me, which I appreciated. I knew who I could expect to talk to, and getting a hold of her was easy if I had any questions (and I did). Sentinel seemed very organized from the get-go, and the offices are very nice. I knew I wanted to work here from my first interview. I initially interviewed for an entry level receptionist position, but after meeting with the manager of that department, she suggested me to another open position within the sales department. I am so glad she did! I would have been happy to work for her, but her suggestion was an incredibly good fit.

Typical interview questions - nothing out of the ordinary.
We're glad the interview process was a positive experience for you! Thank you for for taking the time to share your insights, it is greatly appreciated!

Interview
This was the most negative interview experience I have ever had. The interviewer was extremely unprepared and had clearly not read my resume, yet from the beginning of the interview she seemed determined to cast all of her questions in a negative light. She barely responded to my answers; nothing seemed good enough for her, even my answer to her first question. Why even interview someone if you've already made up your mind for whatever reason? I would never work for this company just based on that terrible interview experience.

Question 1
The only unexpected aspect of the interview was that the interviewer was so unprepared. She didn't even know where I had gone to school, and that is at the top of my resume. It was ridiculous.
