I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sentral
Interview
Video call, went over basic resume questions about experience and how it relates to this role. A few situational questions but nothing too challenging pretty easy overall. I was then directed to take a 'wedge interview' where it's automated questions and you record a short 2-minute response to questions they pre-selected. I was told by the recruiter that these weren't going to impact the hiring process and it's just to get to know candidates better- that was on a Friday. The following Monday i get an automated email saying I wasn't selected, reached out to the recruiter- nothing- reached out a second time - nothing- pretty unprofessional and just kind of lazy to be honest if management is using wedge interview videos as a make or break in the hiring process because they don't want to hold the interviews themselves, that's really what it is. Sentral is a newer company but they need to get there act together and not lie to candidates. When you do 2 interviews for a company and they send an automated rejection email, that isn't fair to the candidate, bring in the human side of it with an actual email or CALL from a recruiter.
