Consisted of one phone interview and one in person interview. Went over resume, discussed hourly wage expectations, previous experience and availability. Everyone, from the hiring manager to the other employees I met upon arrival, was really nice and respectful of time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Are you available to work nights and weekends? What is your hourly wage expectation? What customer service experience do you have?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sephora (Fairfax, VA) in Jun 2015
Interview
I was called after applying online to come in for a group interview. We sat in the center of a mall and they asked pretty simple questions around customer service. They were definitely looking for someone that was passionate about people and making them feel beautiful inside and out. They seem to get annoyed with the candidates that kept reverting back the fact that they love make up. Which makes sense because that doesn't always equate to being good at consulting people who need guidance and suggestions. The thing I love about Sephora is that they are a company that loves to help you grow once you're in.
