Interview
A friend recommended my name as the PM for a specific Army IDIQ contract. They were searching for a person with my exact qualifications. I received an email from my friend asking if they could offer my name for the position. (I said yes) They discussed it for a week and I was contacted by an HR recruiter to start initial telephonic interviews. Conducted three telephone interviews by the BU VP, and two Directors (including one that would be my boss). I was asked if I could travel to the corporate office for a face to face interview. During the interview I met with four Director level members fro the hiring business unit, two of whom I knew well before this interview. At the interview I was asked to sign into the company careers web site and accept a job description for this position. I did that and two weeks later I received an email from the HR recruiter to set up my first day inprocessing at Corporate headquarters.
