The interview process at this company consisted of 3 interviews and 2 challenges. It began with an interview with the US Director of Customer Success. Then, I had to complete two challenges - a customer success challenge where I had to respond to customer emails demonstrating an understanding of the SerpAPI documentation, and a coding challenge that required parsing Google search results using the programming language of my choice.
Next, I had an interview with the EU Customer Success Director, followed by a final interview with the CEO. Throughout this process, all the interviewers were very welcoming, easy to talk to, and made for a generally positive interview experience.
However, despite feeling that I performed well on the challenges and believed the company's culture seemed like a good fit, I did not receive an offer in the end. Surprisingly, I was not provided any feedback or explanation regarding the decision. In fact, I had even gone the extra mile by creating and submitting a tutorial video showcasing my abilities with the Google Images Search API.
The lack of any insights or rationale for not moving forward left a somewhat negative impression, especially considering the time and effort invested in completing the challenges and interview rounds successfully. While the interview experience itself was favorable, not receiving constructive feedback felt like a missed opportunity for professional growth on my part.
