The interview process was smooth and clear. However, did not get a good feeling about the company. Out of the 2 people that were supposed to interview, one came late and did not even bother to introduce herself. I had no idea who was who. All I knew was their names...thanks to the Microsoft Teams app. The HR interviewer was pleasant but the technical interviewer seemed very grumpy and showed expression of frustration when my answers were not upto her expectation. Just when I was wondering why this interviewer was so grumpy, the other lady asked if I worked well under pressure..... that explained the grumpy lady. The interviewers need to keep in mind that it's not just them liking the candidate but also the candidate liking the company. The job description said it was purely manual testing but they asked him lot of questions about automation ('Explain the test automation framework you used', 'How do you go in and update a test script for an automated test'). It's been 2 days since the interview and I am waiting to hear back but I am on the fence about joining this company seeing the unhappy employer and the not so great rating on glassdoor. Nevertheless, it was a good mock interview.
