I have done three interviews at Seven Eleven for part-time jobs and it was a really quick 10 to 15 minutes. When setting up the date and time for the interview they already ask you what shift time you want to work in, and if that shift time is not available they will usually decline immediately. But if they accept the interview, there is a 50% chance that you will be hired. The other 50% just depends on their impression of you.
Very nosy, and annoying. It's a part-time job. Why do they need to know about my hobbies for this? Also, the interviewer was snobby and arrogant, and was fishing for reasons to reject me, as a foreigner.

Pretty casual because I was about to finish high school in a few weeks and had time, so I assume the manager hired on spot. Asked how close I lived from the store and if I was comfortable working morning to afternoon.
