Shake Shack Human Resources Administrator interview questions

04/10/2016 I applied online. After one week got an email invitation for the assessment day. One day before someone from the company just sent an email asking to come after lunch. On the arrival, I noticed they rented an OLD MOTEL salon. Four tables, four recruiters, almost 100 candidates inside. I COUNTED! Most of them standing. At this moment, I didn't know what to do. Should I sit, should I stand, who I need to talk to? Well I found the last chair and was waiting for more than one hour. The Recruiter was shouting... WHO'S NEXT? lol and of course everyone was raising the hands. Around 3pm they said, listen we haven't got time to see everyone and we decided to do a game in order to select the strongest candidates. (What about those who had the chance to get interviewed before) People got mad and started leaving. Well it was so hot inside and the refreshments available were two boxes of 'celebration chocolate'. Btw lots of toilet papers with the chocolates on the table. HELP YOURSELF! The manager I guess cos no introduction at all decided to split the people in four groups and said I will tell a history and you pick up an object you guess is related to the theme and we will judge on top of that. ARE YOU SERIOUS? Well the other three recruiters didn't know what to do. No enough chairs, people shouting and complaining, lack of planning, candidates leaving every five minutes. So, after that they supplied paper and two pens per group because they didn't plan the dynamic. It was just an excuse to say sorry guys we don't know what to do so let's pretend this is part of the assessment. After that I couldn't stand anymore. I felt totally disrespect and I'm sure most of the candidates too. I just walked to the motel door and left with more than 10 with me and when I looked back people got really mad and began complaining and left too. WHAT A NIGHTMARE! Recruiters totally lost and unprofessional. If I wasn't there I wouldn't believe it! One more thing..for those who were interviewed, they were taking picture of your personal documents with their private phones. Waste of time. Terrible experience. A bad joke! 04/10/2016
