I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Shell (Calgary, AB) in Oct 2010
Interview
There is a preliminary interview with standard HR type questions to determine if you should be invited to shell day.
You are invited to a dinner before the Shell day, where you are taught about the interview process and go to dinner with some current employees.
At Shell day, you do a variety of business cases, both alone, in small groups and one large case with a big group. The last case is solved as a group with all of the interviewers in the room assessing how you interact with each other.

Very organized process with clear communications. Some technical questions. Be prepared to read up on the company and the businesses they support. It is also good to have some examples of how you have approached technology, project management, and change.

There are follow-up questions depending on how you answer the previous questions (this part is question confusing as if they have specific answer they wanna hear). My interview process is involving one stage only but there might be a chance to have another stages of interview depending on the roles.
