Two stages interview. First stage of interview is with the direct reporting. Second interview with director of human resources. In between time for 2 stages interview, we will required to take Marriott assessment

Filled my application online, process takes a while. Received a call for a scheduled interview. in a week. I go in and fill out another application then get interviewed 1 on 1 for an hour. He tells me he will contact me in 2 weeks to see if I passed for the 2nd interview. After about 2.5 weeks I get a call for a 2nd interview. This time its with 2 older ladies and a gentleman. They ask questions and the interview lasted 1.5 hours. They say they will get back to me in 2 weeks. So here I am waiting for nearly a month. I don't hear back and I call them to ask about any news. The manager "forgot" to call me and apologized I did not get the position. Why waste someones time for nearly a month and "forget" to call them. It would of been nice to be told right away if I didn't get the position. Overall I did not like Sheratons' hiring process of making you WAIT for over a month, to finally tell you that you didn't get the job. I could of been looking else where if they told me sooner.
