This was your standard engineering interview of 3 rounds, with a presentation on a problem you've solved for the final round. It wasn't easy, but was also not extremely difficult so long as you prepare.
How it went for me:
1st Round: Standard HR phone screen
2nd Round: Video interview with hiring manager, who will ask you to go into your background in more detail
3rd Round: They fly you out to your home site (in my case, Frisco/Dallas) and you're there for a 4 hour interview with several people. 1 person will ask you technical questions, 1 on teamwork, and 1 on values. You'll also have to do a 20-30 min presentation on a technical problem you solved in front of a panel.
Overall, I actually enjoyed the process, especially the on-site because I was able to get to know Shield and see if it was the right fit for me. The whole process for me took a month, but it would have been shorter if it wasn't due to interview availability. HR was super responsive. Found out I got the job in about a week after I interviewed.
