Made it three rounds of phone interviewing. First with HR/Recruiter, then a Director, then I believe the Head of Marketing with a surprise appearance with VP (unannounced until I was on the phone). The third interview was honestly really weird - the whole unannounced VP struck me as odd, but fine. His contribution to the interview was to grill me on fishing brands and my experience, which I had said from the beginning was very amateur. I got the impression that he had the expectation that someone was coming in with deep knowledge of competitors and the industry. Completely ghosted after interview 3!
