I applied for the job and received an email from the recruiter a few days later to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was brief and included pretty standard questions about my work history, why I was looking for a new job, and what kind of work environment I was seeking. At the end of the phone interview, the recruiter asked to schedule a time for an on-site visit. A couple days later, I interviewed on-site with the hiring manager and we discussed the job description and responsibilities in greater detail. I could tell he was genuinely interested in what I would bring to the role, and it make me even more excited to work for the company.
Over the course of the next few days, I returned for several more on-site visits to meet additional members of the executive team. Everyone I spoke with was obviously extremely smart, talented, and - judging from their thoughtful questions and how much time they spent with me - very invested in finding the right person for the job. During this time, I was also asked to complete a written exercise and a brief personality assessment.
Later that week, I returned for a final interview with the CEO. I really appreciated how seriously he took the conversation. I could tell he was listening carefully to my answers and not just following a script. At the end of that week, I was invited to attend the weekly wine hour to get to know the team, which was a great opportunity to meet people throughout different departments. I was presented with an offer on Tuesday of the following week.
The whole interview process was fun, informative, and relatively quick (less than two weeks from when I'd first spoken with the recruiter). I was excited to work for a company that put so much care and thought into their hiring process!
