Interviewed for a role on the NARS team. I had one phone screen with the in-house recruiter and was asked to come in to meet with the hiring manager and one peer. They were casual conversations about my experience, the role and the team. The recruiter was thorough and professional until after the in-person (which I thought went well). I was told they’d make a decision on final rounds within one week. After emailing them 4 times over 6 weeks and even leaving a voicemail, I haven’t heard anything which I find inexcusable, especially after bringing someone in. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional. In addition. I found the NARS team to be very homogenous (literally everyone wore black in the office) and I found the offices to be sterile and uninspiring, which surprised me given their brand.
