I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Shiseido in Oct 2024
Interview
Interview session lasted almost an hour (this is only the 1st). The HR interviewer was good at first but eventually ended up talking more than me? Also very negative candidate experience because they outright said that they won't proceed with me for the 2nd interview, but also spent 5-10 minutes explaining why--he was giving so much unsolicited advice that I did not ask for and judged that I would be better off with this certain position just because of one question he asked. I felt so offended. Please improve your interviewing skills because the interviewer is very self-centered and only liked talking about himself.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Shiseido (Hong Kong)

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Shiseido
Interview
The process was done through 2 phone interviews (as I study abroad). Both were very enjoyable and not intimidating. I felt like the interviewers were genuinely interested in me and what I could bring to the HR team. They went through my CV and asked about parts of my journey that stood out to them. Then they made sure we were on the same page about the role (the internship) and what my expectations were as well as the responsibilities attached to this role. They were very flexible about my start date and I felt immediately welcomed to the team.
