The interview process was fast and the team was great. I had a few 30 minute interviews from the manager and a few team members that felt almost too short in a good way. There was little pressure to say or do the right thing rather just authentic conversations. Some technical questions for sure, but in a conversational manner.

It was not difficult, the hiring manager was professional. She asked about resume, knowledge-based questions and followed the job description.
However, the "Life Story" interview with the HR was completely nonsense. The HR knew nothing about the visa/sponsorship and was obvious that she didn't want to deal with those processes. Very odd that they'd give the HR so much power even when the hiring manager said yes. Asked for specific feedback and she just said "you're just not right".

Question 1
Tell me about a time you implemented security controls.
The interview process was very long, with one of the interviews after screening being one hour where the interviewer told me to “tell me about myself” and then proceeded to not ask any questions or provide any prompts. It felt very awkward and one-sided.
