Interview began with me waiting for a participant who was ten minutes late. Next, I was directed to use CoderPad and the interviewer stated that my code would fully run. It didn’t as CoderPad typically just tells you if the task ran without error. I was then the resented with a sampling problem with proportions contained in a dictionary. The task required a bit of iteration by I was told that I had to use the RAW CoderPad (not arguments provided for methods). The interviewer told me to Google the problem to find the solution. I very rarely just Google a problem for a solution. Driving applicants to Googling a problem is completely the wrong approach. The IDE needs to have the ability to provide help() and arguments. Hello, VS Code maybe?!?! I offered to share my screen as I have BS Code on my local machine. Nope, they didn’t allow it…but again I was told that I could Google it. This interview was a joke for sure.

Phone screen, technical case 1 then technical case, fit round and problem solving round. This is done in 2 steps. Programming is easy to medium leetcode questions. Problem solving was a lot about metrics creation and product analytics questions
