      Marketing Development Representative Interview

      Oct 6, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shopmonkey in Oct 2022

      Interview

While the interview itself was rather easy, the company is completely disorganized. I asked at the end of the first interview if the interviewer had any hesitation about moving on. The interviewer mentioned auto experience, but I got an email a couple hours later to set up yet another interview. I thought the lack of auto experience was something they could get past, but it came up again at the end of my second interview. So basically, I interviewed twice for no reason as all of this information was in black and white on my resume, which they had. In addition the interviewer talked about how important it was to have consultative sales skills, but never asked a single question in regards to consultative selling skills. It was a complete waste of time on both ends.
