They first were incredibly interested. Emailed me shortly after each interview with the next round. After I did the last round of interviews, the recruiter called me to see if I’d be interested in interviewing for another team as well. I said “sure, but my priority is this position as I’ve already met the team, etc.” She said they’d get back to me in the next week or so about the initial role. Cut to almost a month later, I have heard nothing from them. I have emailed several times inquiring. I love the company and loved every single person I spoke with, but the ghosting left a terrible taste in my mouth. Be professional, just send an email saying “thank you so much for interviewing, but the position is no longer available.” Especially if you told a candidate another team was interested in them. Highly disrespectful of the candidate’s time.
