Scheduled for an online test, it was 90 mins test and was asked to solve 3 problems. Even though the problems were not so difficult they are time consuming problems and writing it online without intellisense is difficult. After online test was scheduled for face to face. I had couple of bad interview experience with Siemens where I was made wait for 5 hours but still considered attending it as the consultant said it was a scheduled interview. After reaching the venue some one at front desk guided me with registration and later I was taken inside. 4 people were present and one the person asked me take up another test which was not informed earlier. I was handed over couple of plain sheets and another sheet with couple of scenarios. One of them was to design a complex scenario using class diagrams and the other one was to write a program by hand and was told to be completed in 45 minutes. They never even bothered to introduce themselves. I was not familiar with the UML diagrams so wrote my design in a plain way and written the other program as well. After handing over the sheets with in 5 minutes i was asked to leave. There were no other candidates waiting for interview and the panel never bothered to at-least have a discussion on what i had written. If it was just for name sake please don't call candidates and waste their time. Please do set right expectations on what was expected, the JD said knowledge on UML diagrams nowhere its mentioned a mandatory skill. Don't ever expect candidates to write programs by hand on a plain sheet.
