The HR and interviewers were very nice and pleasing. They made me very comfortable. The process for communicating things was very poor or I would say unprofessional. The HR sent me a case study in the email without mentioning that attached is the PDF and that you have to prepare and present. After her normal email, I asked her about how would the interview look like- will it be technical or business knowledge or what’s the agenda. She connected me to one of the interviewers who already took my first round. We had a nice call understanding the expectations however even he didn’t mention that the HR had already sent you the PDF which you have to complete and present. He just explained me basics about the agenda. Somehow I was on my vacation and missed the attachment on my phone and I borrowed the laptop from my friend to attend the call with the interviewer. Upon my arrival to the office, they asked me about the presentation and I explained them that it was nowhere mentioned and I am sorry that I missed it. I tried my best to buy 15 mins time to understand the case study and present myself in-front of 9 panelist’s and it went really well. Then after 2 weeks, upon rigorously asking for the feedback, I receive a call in the morning that unfortunately you are not selected. I asked for a specific feedback so to improve myself and prepare better next time. I was told that the feedback is all positive, it’s just the other person had prepared 6 slides of presentation and he had the marketing experience so we selected him. I really enjoyed the conversation with all of them, however the process was really unethical.
