I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Siemens (Bengaluru) in Sep 2017
Interview
In short, SIEMENS is looking for cheap labour than a skilled worker. The interview consists of four rounds.
1.) Programming Test
2.) Technical
3.) Managerial
4.) HR
The process will take a full day as their interview process is not streamlined. They will call you in the morning and take one programming test and then there will be hours(min 3-4) of waiting before next round starts.
The worst part will be HR round, even though your technical/managerial interviewer is happy with you and willing to pay you a good sum(30-40%), the HR will shot your negotiations down to 5-10% max. They'll be hardly interested in the skill that you'll bring to the table and just interested in the number and will try to sell you the brand value(:D).
Attend the interview only if you don't have other options.
