More than 3+ months after applying for a National Sales Position - the Hiring Manager called me on a Friday evening and spoke with me for 19 minutes to determine if I should be invited to their Buffalo Grove, IL office for a panel interview - which I was. I provided several Professional references as requested - which were called on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve by the Hiring Manager. I was told that from a group of more than 400+ applicants - the pool was reduced to me and one other person - and the Hiring Manager flew to my hometown to meet my wife (who he included) and I for dinner. I was told to expect a call directly from him with a decision the following week - then two, three and four weeks passed with nothing. After many hours and a significant monetary investment from Siemens - they literally never contacted me - which I find incredibly unprofessional and a reflection upon their Company and Managers.
