I interviewed last month for a project manager position with a female and we both seemed excited to meet each other, and she seemed to like me. I added her on LinkedIn and messaged her, and she sent me a reject notice the next day after seeing my credentials and my accomplishments so jealousy supersedes ethics and qualifications here which makes the environment bullish and unprofessional and that was my worry during the interview based on the first impression I got. This is after I shared with her, I'm highly marginalized and discriminated against despite being qualified, and people don't seem to care to change the narrative of the story as women are also not supportive of each other despite our true nature that should be caring. She saw my success and heard my story and then said oh hours are not working for us despite the fact that she knew my timezone already before she speaks to me so we are discussing judgment here again. I told her we had a good conversation and hours are not an issue, and she blocked on LinkedIn me so that's no respect we are discussing plus a bad behavior by 5 year old in such a professional context. I'm not sure if everyone is this way there, but I had a very bad experience and got traumatized by the act of this woman who made me feel vulnerable, didn't seem to care about anyone and was abusive. Hopefully others have better experience.
