I flew into the Pascagoula, MS office for the interview. I was interviewed by the owner of the company. Others from the company attended including the owner's wife which I felt was unnecessary. The interview lasted about 1.5 hrs. due to the fact the owner talked incessantly. During this "interview," the owner made several derogatory comments toward my weight and gender (I am a woman). It was made clear that it did not matter how well qualified I was for the position due to my experience. Because I am a woman I would never be considered for anything above an "assistant-type" position at this company. I was also told that I needed to lose weight before I would be considered because I did not match the thin figure the owner felt all women should have.
