I was referred by an employee and had a phone interview with Talent Acquisition leadership. The interview was unstructured and superficial without any drill down questions. I was left with this was a great conversation and that I should hear next steps in a week. I waited 2 weeks and sent a follow up email. I received a reply apologizing for the delay and that the position was filled and wished me good luck. I requested feedback and received none. I was shocked from the overall poor candidate experience from Talent Acquisition leadership. That speaks volumes about the lack of commitment for a positive candidate experience. My hope is that someone in this organization will read this and begin to focus on candidate experience.
