I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Signify Health (New York, NY)
Interview
The recruiter initially reached out to me about the opportunity on LinkedIn. I replied and didn't hear back from the recruiter for almost 2 weeks. The recruiter finally replied and apologized. She said they were having internal issues. She asked me to formally apply and that I would receive an email from her shortly. Apparently "shortly" means 3 days later. She finally set up a phone interview. Later that night at 8pm, she sent me an email rescheduling the interview for a different time. I then got another email 2 minutes later with the original time. I was confused and had to reach out so she could clarify. She apologized for the confusion. At first she said it was a phone interview but then I received a link for Google Meet. The time and type of interview was unclear. When it was time for the interview, I made sure I was early for the video call. The meeting time came and went and the recruiter still hadn't joined. I then got a call from an unknown caller and it was the recruiter. She said she just got out of a doctor's appointment and was calling me from the car. She thanked me for answering her call as she said most people have ignored it in the past because they didn't recognize the number. Overall the call went well. She asked me about my background and why I was looking to leave. She said she thought I was a perfect candidate for the job. She gave me an unpaid, test assignment. I had to build an infographic with info about their review process. I submitted the assignment and never heard back. No feedback, no nothing.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Signify Health (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2024
Interview
I interviewed on Friday, June 7 that lasted 7 minutes and received a rejection email Sunday, June 9. I was called about 30 minutes before the interview started to reschedule an hour later. The interviewer did not explain the position well and did not give insight about the company. The questions that were asked seemed like my resume and portfolio was not viewed. I felt rushed at the end of the interview so I wasn't really able to ask questions. I was rejected even though I wasn't asked any questions to see if I was qualified. The interview overall was just odd and off.

Question 1
How many years of graphic design experience do you have?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Signify Health (California City, CA) in Jun 2024
Interview
I recently interviewed for a position at Signify Health and had a mixed experience. The interviewer was nice, and I had the opportunity to meet the hiring manager, which was a positive aspect of the process. However, I felt that their questions and comments indirectly suggested that they didn't see me as a great fit for the role.
I was only asked two questions, both primarily focused on the recent changes within their company. This made me feel like the interview was more about assessing my reaction to their internal shifts rather than evaluating my overall qualifications and fit for the role.
For future candidates, a heads up: Signify Health is a corporate company that seems to prefer hiring individuals with significant corporate work experience. If your background doesn't align with that, you might face similar indirect feedback about your fit for the role. Although the interviewer mentioned how strong my portfolio was and expressed that they thought I'd make a great fit, it was clear that my lack of corporate background made me less of a potential candidate.
