The interviewer was late. When we were discussing my education, she realized my bachelors degree was not in graphic design (it was in Business) and let me know it'd be a waste of my time to move forward because it's required. I understand this, although I believe it's an outdated practice. However, this should have been caught by the recruitment team from the beginning before I was scheduled for an interview. The interviewer also should have been familiar with my resume. It seemed like she didn't know any details about my application. If my education requirement wasn't caught and my experience seemed great, it proves even more that the requirement for a bachelors in graphic design is outdated and close-minded.
