The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sims Limited (Newark, NJ) in Jun 2011
Interview
Received a phone call, asked me a couple of questions. Answered them, and made an appointment to interview at 4 PM the next day.
Upon arrival I had to fill out a 5+ page application. By the time I completed this application and was summoned by the woman interviewing me, it was 4:30. Interview lasted a total of 2-3 minutes, as this woman was clearly in a rush to get out of work.
Totally unprofessional on the part of Sims. I regret taking a half day at work to go to this interview.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sims Limited (Chico, CA) in Apr 2014
Interview
I met a recruiter during a Career Fair at my university. There I learned a little about the company and interviewed the next day. The interview went pretty smooth and was a mixture of personal questions and information about the trainee responsibilities. Although I wasn't positive if I wanted to go into management, this opportunity seemed to offer extensive training that would prepare anyone for a management role
