I was contacted by email to setup an interview 2.5 weeks after applying. I had a half hour phone call with someone in HR who was handling their recruiting. The interview was very standard and focused on my work experience. I was told that the interview process would look like this:
(1) HR Phone Interview Screen
(2) Interview with Hiring Manager
(3) Interview with someone on the team
(4) HR business partner for company culture fit
(5) Chief Infosec officer
There is no reason an interview process for a non-director level role needs to include 5 stages. I was contacted exactly a week later with a generic rejection email and no feedback was provided.
